software. CaseMap makes it easy to organize, evaluate and explore the
facts and issues in any case. And CaseMap makes it easy to track the
questions that must be answered to ensure complete discovery. Perhaps
most importantly, CaseMap makes it easy to be at your best in front
of current and prospective clients. You can visit the CaseMap website
and download a running sample of the program.
NoteMap
Software
NoteMap is a new "outliner" tool from
CaseSoft. NoteMap helps lawyers work up opening statements and closing
arguments, examination outlines, voir dire, and organize a case as
facts are gathered. Users can export or import outlines to and from
Microsoft Word and WordPerfect, and can link outline nodes to external
files, such as images. Lawyers also can copy and paste outlines from
tools such as ECCO, into NoteMap.
TextMap
Another great case preparation tool from
CaseSoft, the
creators of CaseMap, TimeMap and NoteMap. TextMap is a transcript
management tool that lets you create a database of electronic transcript
files and then to cull out critical facts and utilize these facts
in a myriad of ways. TextMap works in conjunction with CaseMap,
and requires that CaseMap be installed. You can use TextMap
to create a database of electronic transcript files from depositions
and other proceedings. Then read your depositions online using
TextMap. When you find transcript passages that contain important
facts, blast them to your CaseMap case chronology with just two clicks.
TimeMap
Software
TimeMap is a CaseSoft product that makes
it simple to create chronology visuals for use during hearings and
during trials. It takes only minutes to create a TimeMap Visual, making
it easy to use TimeMap as a thinking tool. TimeMap Visuals can
be used as jury exhibits to demonstrate critical time based relationships
between key case events.
